kunstenkunstenaar just published an article with a few tricks of the trade explaining how you can save on shipping costs using Museumpak™ among others. It explains how you can save money on shipping art by following some simple guidelines, both for smaller work, using Museumpak art shipping boxes and parcel delivery services and for larger artworks using crates and freight services. Thank you!
At Museumpak we’re into art shipping boxes. We’ve spent years running studios, galleries and non-for-profits learning lessons that allowed us to get better at solving problems that matter. One of them is packing and shipping art.
Our story goes 15 years back when shipping 8 x 4 foot artworks in taped cardboard. Some of the works were damaged, some were in good condition. We were faced with a huge shipping bill because the boxes were oversized. Fedex was so nice to credit the bill, thank you! We sold the works and were saved, but we lost an artist. It’s a lesson that allowed us to move on while getting better at solving problems that matter. Museumbox is the product of years of hard work. While working on the designs for our art shipping boxes, we had one thing in mind. Ship artwork safely while paying less. Less on packing and less on shipping, so you will have more time for art and live a happier life. 15 years down the road we’ve learned the dos and don’ts of shipping art. When it comes to saving time and money here’s the one thing we’re passionate about sharing. Make no compromises on shipping and make no compromises on art. With Museumpak we’re making it easier for you to go for the best, so you can stop worrying about Time, Money and Stress and stay best at what you do. We’ll be releasing our art shipping boxes in Europe in April of 2018. We hope you will be as excited about them as we are and use them to ship your work over the road and by air. In the meantime, we would love you to have a look around and tell us what you think. Welcome to Museumpak! |
